What’s your biggest resolution?
As you know, in late December, all over the globe, people pull out notebooks or open up word documents and write out there resolutions for the coming year.
And most, if not all, make the same mistake.
And this mistake will inevitably cause them to fail to achieve most if not all their resolutions.
The mistake is lack of focus.
Most people should make ONE resolution. All of us have one (or maybe two) major life issues that, if they were resolved, would have a major impact on our lives.
But instead of focusing on the ONE, we write out 10 to 15 minor goals that may or may not have much of an impact. But they would be “nice” to achieve.
So the “would be nice” resolutions get in the way of achieving the “ONE BIG MAJOR LIFE CHANGING GOAL”.
As Stephen Covey said in 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, put the BIG rocks in the jar first…the little rocks will fit. But if you put the little rocks in first, there won’t be room for the big ones.
So, what’s your ONE BIG resolution? If you’re reading this message, chances are it has to do with financial freedom.
And that’s a good one. Because nothing makes achieving all your other “would be nice” resolutions than improved finances.
More cash can help you lose weight…by enabling you to buy better food and afford equipment and gym memberships.
More cash can improve you family life…by giving you the freedom to spend more time with the people you love.
More cash can help your love life…by…well, you get my point.
Money doesn’t solve all of life’s problems, but it certainly can help solve most of them.
So, if your ONE BIG resolution is to finally start a profitable online business and achieve financial freedom, then focus. Let all the other resolutions go until you’ve achieved that one. And don’t give up until you get it. Because achieving your ONE BIG resolution will help you achieve anything else you want!
